I agree they don't seem to have the passion. A change will be good for them I think this summer. Maybe coaching, maybe some trades.
I do think they relied on coming back at the end of the season like they did last year. They left no room for error. They didn't budget for any losses.

I agree with Nancy about passion. It seems at times the only ones who have been playing with any passion are the "new" guys--Beleskey, Sexton, Bodie, etc. I'd love to see that level of compete from our other players. I think fans are coming to terms with not making the playoffs and agree it might be good for Getzy and Co to experience a shortened season for once. Maybe then, the fire will come back.

Passion is what is missing at the games. When I do see it, it is usually half way through the 3rd period. I will say the Ducks get up to play the Great Teams, but don't show much intensity with most games. I have to fault the Leader of the Team. Not the Captain, but the coach. The players tuned RC out this season. His words don't resonate, he can't get them fired up, pumped up, whatever the problem is. Some want to blame GM Murray too, but I can't. I think he has done a wonderful job putting a team together. We have phenomenal players. I look forward to next season. Hopefully, without RC!

What about HIller? I feel like he hasn't been as stellar since the olympic break (or Giguere trade for that matter).
