I’ve been given an assignment, and an educational one at that.  Again I point you to the Bleacher Report where there are photos to accompany the short list that I’ve complied of the best players over the age of 40 to have ever played in the NHL.  The list is short (too short for the number of exceptional athletes who qualify) and, just as all lists are, open to discussion.  I hope you enjoy it, and more importantly, I hope you add to it in the comments.
