I’d like to see you do a hockey vs soccer comparison.
why is the world obsessed with soccer instead of hockey?

Also, why aren’t there more “people of color” in hockey?
Seems like 98% of hockey players and fans are white

Of course, I’ve got about 50 more reasons after having sat through an overwhelmingly exciting hockey game and then being tortured through and insanely long football game.

An overtime goal trumps 1 interception any day!

Fight is really important in hockey. Not just to back up your fellow teammate. It also can help sway momentum. If a team is down a goal and one of the their players fight and win, that can energize the entire bench. One of the reasons why I love the fighting.

AHHHH, I’m glad I’m not the only one!!

Hey, if someone takes a run at one of my boys, I want someone to get out there and kick that guys ass…but when it comes right after a face-off and it’s obvious they’ve been “chatting it up”…I’ll pass!

P.S. It’s not unnatural to not like fighting in hockey. Unless it actually has a purpose (aka: not premeditated), I can’t stand it.
