I honestly don't think enough people grasp his talent. I think it's because it's not in your face. He's an outstanding player. Ironically, this game came after what would be considered the mid season point, but it's a fantastic start for the second half (it was technically the 2nd game of the 2nd half of the season...whew! - say that a few times fast!). Maybe now this team realizes what they need to win - headstrong Getzlaf. It’s amazing what he does for this team. I honestly don’t think enough people grasp his talent. I think it’s because it’s not in your face. He’s an outstanding player.

Ironically, this game came after what would be considered the mid season point, but it’s a fantastic start for the second half (it was technically the 2nd game of the 2nd half of the season…whew! – say that a few times fast!).

Maybe now this team realizes what they need to win – headstrong Getzlaf.
